Was Winchester the only maker of the 4 row 19 hole heat shield variation?

Was Winchester the only maker of the 4 row 19 hole heat shield variation?

My online reading indicates that this was a mid war variation for the 97 then the M12?

Were there any other trench gun manufacturers that used this 4/19 style of heat shield?

Has anyone repro'd the 4/19 before Taylor? they seem to be the only repro that I can find for it past or present.

    Thank you!

Yes they were during WW2. I believe there are some other manufacturers like Mossberg who uses a 4 row hole heat shield on some of their newer shotguns like the 590.

Ahh thanks. I cannot seem to find any mossys with a HS with adapter riveted or spot welded to it. Just HS alone. So I should have clarified that point.

I finally got a 4/19 HS Bayo adaptor attached to a win 1200 barrel thats been collecting dust at a friends shop for 20+ years in the back. no "W" marking, but I do not see rivets securing HS to the BA, just what I would call spot welds. Were all WIN made adaptors riveted or was that limited to the 6/29 adaptors?

If win didn't make it, I wonder who was making them 20+ years ago.

Thanks, I'll get some pics up in a bit
