I've only ever shot the one, interesting rifle, very low recoil from the 7.92mm Kurtz.

I was reading on another forum last week, that someone decided to build a AR-15 in 7,92x33mm. This had to an expensive project with problems still not resolved. A new 7,92mm
barrel was purchased and chambered for the 7,92x33mm (custom made reamers and headspace gages) AR-15 bolt face altered. The AR-15 in 7,92x33 worked and he fired a average
target. Main problem was a magazine that would be able to hold a number of cartridges. He was going to buy a Germanicon 7,92mm Kurz magazine and attempt to work this into something.

Many years ago a few attempted to convert the M1icon carbine into a 30 cal Kurz or 7,62x33 cartridge as these will fit the carbine magazine. A new longer barrel has to be installed with the
custom chambering and the usual bolt face alteration. Almost like shooting a proof load with every shot.

    I own an MP44 (Heinel)
I also collect the Kurz ammo, and other accessories, that go along with them, too - just for fun really.

*The photos are of the same weapon, the sun just caught the blue on the outdoor shot.

Box open left is an original 7,9x33mm ammo crate with individual rounds by date, factory and batch, the blue folder has some manuals and other paper work in it - also some boxed ammo - the box on the right is spare parts and some other bits.
