    Re conversion

    Hi Guys,

I looked at a Peruvianicon Mauser that appears to have matching numbers, BUT the barrel was changed to NATO caliber.
What would I be in for to change it back to 7.65?

    Thanks for any info

    I have my answer.
They were converted in Peruicon to either .308 or NATO after WW2.
    So much for a reconstruct

7.65 wouldn't be as desireable to me either, I'd have to load for it around here...7.62 on the other hand...surplus is available for now.
    Regards, Jim
