CMP 1911’s

Hello,
When CMP start selling the 1911’s would I be able to buy one living in California? How will they be classified? Thanks

As the rules state, you must submit with you application an 01 FFl. It can be faxed, emailed or attached to the application. If you get picked for a 1911 the CMP will ship the pistol to your FFL. Than you go to your FFL and to through the NICS check with them and an other requirements your state requires.
