    Building a Replica of a CAR15/ Colt 609 commando

Here are a few videos and I am almost done. The heart of this baby is LMT barrel worth as much of the rest of the rig.

Break out your tigerstripe camo and your kabars

Can't wait to get my boonie hat and shoot this at the range double plugged.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Wow, nice shorty there. I'm new here, this is post one for me. I'm an American, and as such I know just about nothing about Canadianicon gun laws, so I was really surprised that you could make a short barreled rifle without going through the rigamarole we have to go through down here. Anyways, what brought me to this site was that I'm planning to build a retro carbine and I'm looking for information about whether or not it matters what color my delta ring is. I see that yours is black, I've seen some gray ones on rifles that have gray receivers, and I've even seen some black rings with gray receivers, so I'm guessing it's not that big of a point of contention, although I'd probably get some funny looks if I had a gray one on a black receiver...

I'm curious, did the front sight base change over well? Sometimes they lean to one side when using another base as the pin holes are drilled after the sight is located...

Yes, our registration is such that you can have short barreled guns and they register the same as a handgun.
