    Honor Guard 1903 stock refinish

    New guy here. I just joined the American Legion Honor Guard, and want to refinish the stock on the rifle I have been assigned. I want an original look (color), but it is very important that it not stain the white gloves. It appears to have a varnish type finish on the stock currently. These are all low SN rifles, so they have been firing blanks for years
