IN NEED OF HELP IN IDENTIFYING A WEAPON FOR THIS STOCK

I Believe this is the place to get some knowledge and then some.

ok to the point..;

I have a couple of these and I will attach picture. Please help me identify to what weapon this belongs to...
I've searched and searched and apparently not enough, I can't figure out what this stock goes to..

I have the pics and here they are, I believe this stock is for a Mossberg shotgun, new family, like the current issue. Say, 500 series or military...

I could be wrong, but that looks very much like a McMillan piece for something more than a shotgun

I agree. The butt stock in the first picture looks like an aftermarket Remington (or similar) shotgun stock.

Remington has a long oval at the front. You guys should take your ideas to Google search and look at the images. You look up Mossberg 500 buttstock and see. Pay attention to the differences. Also, I have a Remington stock here, and this isn't it.

Gil, what sporting rifle do you know that uses a single buttstock and not a full length stock, one that goes from mid barrel to behind the tang? How many besides the LE have a single buttstock?

Here's a Remington, he's not asking for speculation of what it's similar to, but what is it? Pics... Look at the open front for comparison, now go look up Mossberg on line...besides, I think he's gone. I gave him his answer when he emailed me.
