Thank you Frank and MkVII, this is really great information to be shared with others whom may have nor may possibly need this detail for their own rifles.

Really appreciate you digging this detail up.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Just remember also that Numrich no longer sell to Australiaicon due to the stupid restrictions put on by Obumma, if you were thinking of trying to get any parts from them.

Yes, Dick, I've been through that silly little dance with Numbskulls... I've found an alternate method to obtain their stock, legally but with several additional steps.

Braaaaaaaaaak certainly was keen to leave a legacy and did.

I've never been accused of having good timing in my life and don't intend to break tradition...

I managed to sell my Cadet in October to make way for another piece (which I really should not have bothered with, but that's another story...)

Rather hard to part with such lovely pieces of history and fantastic machinery as the Cadet. Well, the new owner has reported good scores and lots of smiles, so as the new custoridian I can only hope their time with it is grand too.
