A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. If Canadianicon fits UKicon then I'll bet they both will fit Chileanicon...and other way round.

The FAMAE PAF trigger en bloc is one of the parts that are interchangeable. It's a close copy of the Sterling and works fine in the full-auto Sterlings. But it doesn't have the feeling of the real thing.

The Canadianicon C1 trigger is fascinating. The man who invented it was brilliant.

The FAMAE PAF bolt is the same weight as the Mk5 Sterling but the cocking handle is not in the same location. It takes a little modification to make it work in a Sterling.

Thanks. It's good to be back. I missed you all.

Every day we recover a bit from Hurricane Harvey. Lost a lot of stuff, but was only stuff. We're slowly getting back to a normal life.
