    2017 Isle Of Mann TT

This proves that it is the most lethal road race on the planet.
May they find peace in doing what they loved.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... To get a full understanding of why it's so dangerous; take a look at this onboard lap with John McGuinnes; top TT man these last few years

Watch the movie "V Four Victory" the Joey Dunlop Story when he was riding for Honda he commented on just how unsettled the bike was with that great bloody camera on the tank still he pulls a wheelie at 180mph.

Joey Dunlop is one of my all-time hero's! not just because he was fast on a bike; but he was a really generous bloke too. Giving his own time and money to drive food and gifts to orphans in eastern Europe; without looking for any sponsor or publicity.
It was estimated that 50,000 people attended his funeral! That must give some idea of his popularity.

Surprising that a guy with a sack that big could even sit on a bike. I used to watch the TT when it came on over here, but they don't show up much anymore...

I am on my 7th Honda and even though owning Z9's & ZIR the finish on the Honda's and mechanical reliability has always been a selling point for me the Super Blackbird XX I am on now even though a 2003 model still gets a look from passers by and can hold its own against other sports tourer's of today I will let the 1300's, H2's, ZX's fight it out who wants to wrap themselves around a light pole first........

Thought I would add this one for all of us old fogeys that remember these things as Grand Prix racers it the TZ750 and its stable mate the TZ700 were absolute bullets of horrendous power that would eventually spell the end of them so they down sized to the 500cc class but that was a joke as you had a 120kg bike with nearly 170BHP which caused chaos on a different level just ask Gardner, Swantz, Sheene or Rainey what they were like to ride.
Anyway enjoy the vid of a terrifying bike from long ago of note is how washy the front end gets cornering and coming out under power.................he was getting passed but hey its a very valuable antique bike that very few of which were produced so no real need to be a maniac he was changing at @10,000rpm
