I have an offer to buy a Webley Mk.111 in .38 S&W. Firearm is marked "Hortan/William. What would be a fair market value? Thanks in advance for any information.

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. A Weblet? Sounds indeed like a baby Webley. Seriously, we need photos for evaluation. Is Hortan/William scratched, electro-stencilled, stamped or engraved? All markings are relevant for evaluation.

Name is stamped. Unfortunetly I can't purchase it as it is is classed "prohibited".

So the seller are they a dealer! are your local laws that strict there is always a way to get stuff sometimes you have to join clubs and shoot a few times a year to keep currency not a real biggy.
