    Pieper Modele 1920

Bought a bunch of parts I needed today, and look what was in the bottom of the box. A Pieper Modele 1920. It is missing hammer and magazine, but is in pretty good shape otherwise. Very unusual design. Plenty of Belgian proofs, don't see anything that would indicate military use. Thought you guys might like to see.

Before Pieper in Belgiumicon started the semi auto pistols, they manufactured revolvers and carbines based on their revolver using a variation of the Nagant system in their
own caliber 8mm Pieper (also loaded by Winchester and Remington). These Pieper revolvers and carbines all went to Mexico where they were used during the revolution
years from the late 1890's to 1920 approx. Not common to find even in the US nowdays
