    Nagant 91/30 scope mounts?

I picked up this Nagant 91/30 from a local dealer about 5 years ago for $125. I shot it ALOT and love it. About a year later I was in the same gun shop buying a handgun and asked him how to mount a scope to my Nagant and he sold me an aftermarket rail that replaces the rear sight. I haven't put it on yet. Thought I would ask everyone's opinion on it. Any thoughts? Thank you

You have a Mosin Nagant. A Nagant is a revolver.

They work, and I have used one on a Brazilicon Mauser, but it is not easy to find a scope with suitable eye relief. Rifles scopes: eye relief so short as to be useless. Pistol scopes: eye relief too long, so the field of view is restricted. Get the adapter, but try out the pistol scope before purchase, as the suitability will partially depend on your eyesight.
