That's right Gil, if its pre April 2016, you can't gift, sell or loan it unless it's brought up to the current EU standard and resubmitted to the Proofhouse.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... As I understand it the offence is incorporated into the Crime Bill, & is applicable to selling/gifting a firearm within any EU country. There has already been speculation amongst some deact collectors as to whether pre April '16 deacts (if otherwise compliant) will revert to being street legal so long as they are only offered for sale on the home market, once we are out of the EU.

Pedro your thread has been hijacked by the POMS cheeky buggars. I would like to know where you got it etc because I was handling one very recently that was for sale then not. Private email if you want to.
It was a very well done Skelly with no marks to indicate by who or where. It looked like other Aussie Skellys. The Kiwis marked theirs.

Yep, sorry for our diversion ... To be fair its somewhat of a tradition here, we start taking about Lee's, then divert to classic cars before discussing the moon landings or some other totally random chitter chat.

Not at all. As PL knows I never let you blokes get away. But you did wander a long way but stayed sort of online. The one I had in my hands in January was not a bubba or back yard job.
Don't forget the time difference and he maybe a FIFO on shift.
