    Scotti rifle

For trials in the 1930 (about 1936 to 1938) some P. 14 rifles were modified to Scotti rifles. The only photo I could find. was this. For my book about the P 14 rifles I am lokking for more and better photos from this rifle. Can annyone help?

The Scotti used the barrel, receiver(maybe) and bayonet mount from the M91 Carcano and was in 6.5mm Carcano caliber. I don't believe it had anything to do with the P14 Enfield if that is the P14 you're referencing. For those not familiar, The Scotti was a rifle submitted for testing when the Italians were looking for a semi-auto after The Great War. Tom

The Scotti system also was made for the Mauser rifle. That is the reason that they also made it for trials with the P 14. The rifle on the photo was testet in Great Britainicon (and tlater in the Aberdeen Proving Ground).
