    Military Charger Clip Whatsit Doodad?

    All,

I ran across 6 of these and since it appeared as though they would hold cartridges, I bought 'em.
Now the only question is, what are they?
No identifying marks that I can see. Very sturdy stamped and welded construction.
    I'm at a loss!

    Any help would be appreciated.

I suspect it is either a M14icon or maybe a FN-FAL magazine charger. You feed the stripper clips in the top and the rounds strip off into the mag.

    Good call!
    According to this, https://www.gunpartssupply.com/imi-308-steel-mag-loader-galil/m1a/fal/m14.html
    it could be for both.
Ya know, I ask this forum a lot of questions. I think I’ll give back a bit. I have 6 of these available. Anyone that wants some in the United Statesicon, shoot me a message. Free of charge, two chargers per person. Three lucky souls!

Good for you. I collect Lee Enfields, Ross, Carcano's and Swedishicon Mausers and I'm in Canadaicon. Three people in the USAicon will be happy.

I’m not sure of the laws and that’s the only reason I excluded my brothers to the north. If I’m mistaken or being overly cautious, I’d be totally fine with sending some that way as well!

I think you were right to exclude us Northern Barbarians. A few times I was refused shipping on stripper clips from the US. If WMD were allowed to cross borders like that the next thing you know Canadianicon's wearing skirts will be slurping beer in Helena Montana.

FN FAL. I was issued one of these as a national serviceman, works quite well. One of the tests to being a rifleman was to load a magazine in umpteen seconds with strippers, which weren't available in the store.

Those are just a small stamped affair like the US issue M16 charger. Just slip onto the rear of the mag and hold the clip, this one is metric FN...Canadianicon ones are different...
