Congrads-- I have two twin grandsons and a grand daughter. This year I plan to start to get them involved in learning to shoot, properly handle and respect firearms. I am going to buy a small Cricket bolt action rifle to teach them. If they are still interested later I will upgrade to a Henry lever action .22LR for each.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I did get to see him today in his incubator. He was sleeping but did open his eyes very briefly when I had my phones camera off. My wife and I could only go in one at a time and we had to scrub in for 3 minutes even though we weren't touching him. I thought they would make us wear masks but they didn't. He was all wrapped up so we could only see his head and face. Hard to remember them being so small. Both my daughters were a bit bigger, but not by much. Still no word on when he will go home and my daughter seems very content with that. She's very protective and wants to make sure he is OK before taking him out. I can get that, they have good insurance.

My Grandson got to go home last Thursday. We stayed away due to me not feeling 100%. I got to hold him for the first time yesterday. Not many moments in my life better than that. He is doing well. Made steady progress in the hospital and has gained five ounces since he came home. He slept the entire time we visited yesterday.
