    Stock Disc ID Help

    Hello,

Been tying to identify this ID disc's marks using my copy of "The Broad Arrow" but could not find any matches. Any idea on what BNR stands for?? Or maybe I am reading it right?
Any help would be appreciated Thanks!

    Possibly Bengal-Nagpur Railway?

    a brief internet search:

"Originally raised as the Bengal Nagpur Railway Volunteer Rifle Corps on the 15th June 1888 and amalgamated on the 18th November 1898 with the Orissa Volunteer Rifles before being reorganised into a Corps of two Battalions in 1903. Became the 36th Bengal Nagpur Railway Regiment on the 1st April 1917 and then the Bengal Nagpur Railway Regiment on the 1st October 1920. Became the Bengal Nagpur Railway Battalion on 13th April 1933"

Might help to know what rifle it came off of, unless it is just spare bit you found laying around.

If you have some corresponding marks on a rifle it could make it a tad easier.

It did not come off a rifle just a spare. Came in lot of other marked and unmarked discs that I bought years ago.
