    Accuracy International A115A2

Just curious if anyone has any information related to the Accuracy International L115A2 .338 Lapua. At one time I was told only a hand full were in the US, and I was looking for a value.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Search Accuracy International on Gunbroker. A .308 AT Demo rifle starts at $3500USD. There's a guy with a stock he thinks is worth over $1100US.
.338 Lapua ammo runs about $4 to $6 US a shot.

My understanding is similar to yours regarding only a handful being in the US. I know of a L115a2 with metal case and a few accessories (no scope) that sold on gunbroker a few years ago for $15,000.

I did a 5 day shooting course 3 years ago being taught by the Perth TRG Sniper cell instructor we had 4 of us shooters one chap had a brand new TRG42 Sako with a S&B PMII with Horus reticle he purchased all of that plus 200 rounds of 338 Lapua factory ammo at $10/ea so $2000/Au just for ammo! Think he said the whole lot was $16K

Are you considering buying one or are you thinking of selling one?
