    MILSURP target match?

    Greetings,

Is there any prospect about running this match again?

From the lack of response, I guess not.

Gents I believe the original "matches" were run for the folks in the UKicon to benefit from having a tangible "match" use for their equipment to support licensing etc. Bigduke did a great job of coordinating, but priorities and free time changes. Perhaps with another admin and more interest? Or just keep posting you personal fun shoots - I will, and enjoy them all.

The idea was to run it for all members world wide and show what an old Milsurp rifle can do, there was a lot interest at the beginning but tailed off, it was hard trying to make it work for everyone, it could of been a benefit to UK shooters but think there was only myself at one point......... time and work has got in the way of a lot of things so collecting has become more involved than the shooting. Although I still shoot Pistol (what we are allowed to own) and .22 its very rare I shoot full bore now except with downloaded ammo.

I think its probably more of an interest to shoot and post as L1A1 Breakdown says, this way we see a lot more variation. Obvious if I win the Lottery then we could expect to see it rise from the ashes......
