Metric Micrometer Rear Sight - Enfield

I'm looking for information to convert a no4 rear sight to metric. Can somebody confirm the conversion...been told that the slide had a line struck .700" below existing and side was marked "M". The remainder of the sight was unchanged. Any reference pictures out there? Does anybody know where a guy could pick up a slide or complete sight? Ron(Canadaicon)

The line was milled off and a new line was engraved.
I used to have a small stock of new-in-the-package ones but sold them all some years ago.

MK VII - Do you have a picture of the slide front and side? It would be helpful to see the area where the existing line was removed and the "M" stamping. Ron(Canadaicon)

The difference, and therefore the method of making one, is spelled out in Peter's No.4(T) book IIRC.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

Having belatedly found an old picture of it:

I've now found the sight I was sure I had somewhere around here
