    Turkish Mauser web gear question.

Does anyone have pictures of the correct web gear that matches the 1938 Turk Mauser ? My Turk 1938 came with a pile of web gear and I would like to keep the correct gear with the rifle. Thanks.

What exactly do you mean by web gear? Sling, belt, ammo pouches, etc?

The problem with Turkey that I can see is they weren't exactly uniform with much of anything rifle wise. They rebuilt all sorts to roughly the same standard and put a bayonet on it that may or may not have been made recently or was WWII cut down, etc. Best thing I could find on original Turkishicon slings is they used leather thongs through holes rather than buckles and pins. But they used stuff they acquired through other sources also.

If you have original Turk stuff, I'd love to see it. Can you post some photos?
