CMPicon selling one or 2 every now and then, I'm surprised they've lasted this long. Pretty soon there won't be any more. Madness? Maybe, but they are what they are....

Madness yes but not very smart. You can go on line and find better examples for sale for quite a bit less. But it's for CMPicon they will say but while that may be it's not very bright. Go on line, buy a better one and then donate funds to CMP and save money and your ahead of the game. Plus you can say you gave to the CMP. So then your a hero.

Wow, I have one that was found in a barn in Portsmouth, Englandicon in 1944, kept by the family until the death of the owner, sold to me and imported with State Department PM RSAT retransfer authorization in 2005. It's not mint but it's the only one I've had that's completely original and not a rebuild. I was offered 6k for it in Phoenix in 2010. The only problem is the ATF Form 6 has "not for resale" stamped on it!

It could only be worth 8k in the free world (non-CMP) if it belonged to someone important. Mine from CMPicon is a high wood.
