    Kokura Type 99 Arisaka

I just recently picked up a Type 99 Arisakaicon. Maker's mark seems to be Kokura. Not sure the series. The wood seems kinda dinged here and there and the metal finish is ok. The bore seems to be ok as well 8/10. I had a mid war version previously but sold it since I wanted an early war version. It has a full mum, AA sights, original cleaning rod, original but non matching dust cover and came with a bayonet. I'm pretty happy with it for the price I paid $350. It seems like these keep going up in price as of the past two years. I am looking for an original monopod if anyone has one floating around?? I've seen a few on ebay but always seem to miss them. Also, the rifle matches itself. The bolt is a different number but matches itself.

Also, bought it from original veteran's son who had brought it back from the Philippines.

With the bayonet, mum, dustcover and anti-aircraft sights, you did well at that price.
