    two color M1 helmet nets

I am attempting to date the introduction of these two tone helmet nets. These fit the US Army M1icon helmet but could fit other helmets. Early photos of the Aleutian Island invasions of Attu and Kiska show troops with these two tone helmet nets.

Were these nets used in the UKicon ? any information would be appreciated

Those are indeed Canadianicon WW2 issue helmet nets. Originally made for use on the MkII helmet they were also added to the M1icon helmets issued to Canadians that participated in the Kiska operations.
