Murata Type 22 Nose Cap disassembly

I just picked up a Murata Type 22, and after searching here and elsewhere, I can’t find and info on the nose cap. Has anyone had experience taking it off the rifle? I’m not sure I’m dealing with an original screw, so I’d like to get some info on how it’s mounted to the forend and barrel before attempting to take the screw (and the pin on the other side) out for disassembly. Thanks for any help!
