Before the FS fighting knife, we had these!

    Morning all,

I was going through my old office system the other day archiving files that needed to be retained and I came across this rather rare knife I helped a friend sell a few years back.

Its a rare BC-41 ( BC = Birmingham Castors I believe) knuckle duster Commando knife, issued to the Commandos before the rather more refined but equally deadly FS knife was developed and issued.

This one evil looking piece, echoing its WW1 ancestry, really does drive home the close up, personal and deadly violent nature of Commando work!

Such fear did the units put into the Germans it led to that infamous order that any Commando's caught alive were to be executed on the spot with no trial.
