The Incredible Life Of Amedeo Guillet

    Dear friends,

I have read a wonderful book a few years ago, which I suggested to my son after finding it again in my bookshelf.
He picked it up not really convinced (he’s now quite into fantasy books right now), but listening to my pressing suggestions he started reading it.
Well, hes been MIA since he got it two days ago.
It is a book about a very special person, a true knight of another epoque.
He lived in the 20th century, but it seems that he might have lived in any age, from the middle age to..... his age.
You might consider him the Italianicon Lawrence.
His life has been so special, so unbelievable, that I can only dream about.
He is virtually unknown in this country of ours that celebrates traitors and forgets its heroes.
Luckily enough the book has been written by an English writer and does exist in English language.
Italy is a a strange country, it gave birth (and still does) to great individual heroes, but is unable to show up collectively in a decent way, so this history is something that really warms up my heart and my spirit.
I can wholeheartedly suggest this book to anyone, since the character is so majestic in its chivalry, honor and humanity, that he really deserves to be known also by his former “enemies” (please allow me this little triviality).
I see it is available on the internet, among others on amazon.

I hope some of you will believe this foolish Italian guy and enjoy this adventure of a lifetime.

Never thought for a second you being foolish Ovidio will put it on the radar.
I just started a read on Charles Upham "Mark Of The Lion" a New Zealandicon WWII hero who won the VC & Bar not many have won the VC twice its hard enough to win once let alone twice, some said that our own Albert Jacka was denied the Bar to his VC in WWI something to do with bureaucracy......
