A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Very nice and not too often you find the tripod with the AA grip clips still intact.
Those alone are a nice find.
    cheers,
    Warren

    Hi Warren
I had given up trying to get a tripod, but the planets lined up and it was my turn to own one.

You have started something now Luis! I am very interested in your Jeep trailers! Are they all Wartime Willys ? Bantams? Or Postwar Variants?

I still like the Bren set up in a Mk.1 tripod with an SMLE as the front leg.
I used to set a couple of mine up like that when I had the space.
I'll see if I can get to one of the Mk.1 tripods and set it up with the SMLE leg in the yard and take a few shots (PICTURES) !!!! along with the 100 round drum attached.
