Type 30 carbine

New member here. Picked up a type 30 carbine yesterday and looking for sources of information on them. It has what looks to be an expedient center band and swivel but the rest is correct and in very good shape. Mum is partially ground which should point to post surrender bring back. How many of the 45K made survived and where did they go? Have read that England and Russia acquired some WW1 era. Any information is appreciated. Thanks

I don't think anyone knows how many are left and or where they went. The carbines are less common than the rifles and the rifles aren't especially common. Trade off is they aren't as sought after as the 38's and 99's.
