    New acquisitions

Having given up four quarry rifles and put in for four variations, to add four additional target rifles, this is what I have just acquired, picked up the last of the four this morning:

    New toys from the top:

1955 Fazakerley No 4 Mk II .303 (I repatriated this from Germanyicon, which was an easy process).

    1969 Enfield Envoy 7.62

1950 BSA No 8 .22 LR Cadet rifle

GSG STG 44 .22 LR semi auto

Ok, sorry about the STG 44 in an Enfield thread!

And they will keep these Enfields already in the cabinet company:

    1944 BSA 4(T) sniper rifle

1960 BSA L1A1 SLR straight pull (Anglo Custom Rifle)

I've got one of the GSG MP44's as well. It's really great fun to shoot & very well made (mind you, made in Germanyicon)!

I'm looking forward to shooting them all!

You'll probably not recognise it Roger, but the 4(T) has been through your hands.........

It's a surprisingly small world, that of WW1 & WW2 sniper rifle collectors!

I'm not sure if that indicates we are exclusive and discerning, or just plain sad!

Nice one David, an impressive line up of all things good and Enfield.

    Nice.

I have a GSG StG.44 in my cabinet as well to keep my two Lee-Enfield's company -
Don't get to shoot the StG.44 much though as every time I take it to the club, every other bugger there wants a go of it

I wonder if my 4T has been though anyone else's hands on here?

I don't know GeeRam; we'd need more details to establish that!
