Just like buses: Nothing for ages then along come two.

Firstly I know that etiquette is to not publicise auctions in case someone is sitting on a total bargain and we blow it for them.

In this case however, I thought it would be OK (moderator - if not please delete) as neither of these are going to be bargains and I suspect deserve some conversation as they are super rarely seen.

Checked a certain ‘broker auction site this morning and there are two P14 ‘sniper’ rifle auctions. Does anyone know anything about these at all? I’ve never even seen one before?

When I looked, there were THREE!

The two more expensive ones are configured as a regular issue No 3 Mk1* (T) rifle. Rifles of this style were used in action in WW2. Unable to comment as to provenance.

Not familiar at all with the first one though; not a standard set-up. Belding & Mull 3 power scope and that style of mount I think is mid-20's dated, so perhaps unlikely to be UKicon military.
