I was warned off sometime back that it wasn't safe to part with any money with the aforementioned person. There are others on here who so far haven't commentated that I know have had ideas stolen from them as well.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Jon used to be a member of the UKicon based Full-bore forum, can anyone vouch if he still surfaces there?

Jon used to be a regular fixture at the Trafalgar and other fairs but not heard of him showing for some time.
His work is par excellent and there always was a time lag in getting items, but usually worth it.
I know he had some personal issues a few years ago and I thought he had those cleared up.
A very knowledgeable fellow and again his work was above reproach.
I never had any issues with Jon on anything other than I think he took on way more work than he or 10 men were capable of doing in the time frame promised.

I had a nightmare dealing with this.... chap a few years ago, all done through eBay, at the time. It was over a few sets of No15 chest handles. All good a first, took my order, took my money, then it went ALL bad after that! Now I know we cut fellows all the slack in the world as they’re often a one man band with lots going on, problems personal and private etc. etc. I totally understand that, but this guy! After months and months of me politely trying to get some communication going with him I got nothing! Then I managed to reverse my payment to him after about 4 or 5 months.... well £&!? me he got in contact bloody quick then I can tell you. Then he writes a ton of trash talk about me on his eBay advert.... proper clown. Anyway I sourced my own leather and made them myself 👌

He's still a regular on the "ukvarminting dot com" forum - he was on there as recently as yesterday.

So I just got some caps in for my repro M82 scope on my 1903a-faux that a forum member made for me. They look great and fit perfectly. You might drop him a line and see if he can hook you up...

Just had a look, and he hasn't posted on Full-Bore forum since 24th April 2017.
