    Steyr M95 Markings

Hey all, new member here. Recently I purchased a Steyr M95 that I assume has been arsenal refinished (electrostenciled bolt). The rest of the rifle is matching serial numbers along with a few odd items I found. I believe it is a carbine with a 1903 Bulgarian Contract marking and two Cyrillic letters above the crest which are Beta Phi, ΒΦ, ( I will upload photos as soon as I get back home Friday.) I am wondering what the Beta Phi letters signify and what a potential value is

Pretty easy to spot bulgarian contract rifle. The austro-hungarian one simply have budapest or steyr on top of the receiver. If yours have a crest, its a bulgarian contract gun. Year and location of production should be written on the left side of the receiver. Check on top of the chamber for a stamped S or H meaning it got converted to 8x56r. Otherwise it might still be in 8x50r (unlikely, electropencil meant it was arsenal refurb and i doupt it escaped the upgrade)
