Going prices for a 1911 long rifle?

I’m considering picking one of these up to add to the collection and I’m trying to gauge US prices. There isn’t a lot to go by in terms of many selling them and the few who are have prices all over the place. The one I’m looking at is selling for about $500.

I'm no expert but I have been paying attention to gunbroker for Swissicon rifles.

1911 long rifles that are not 96/11s and have not been sporterized have been selling for as low as $400 and as high as $800. With outliers excluded $450-700 seems appropriate for online sales and varying based on condition, whether accessories are included, and whether they have been import marked.

For a point of data, I recently purchased by 1911 for $350 at a local gun shop when they were originally asking $400.

Also, I noticed that Classic Firearms has them in stock for $479.99, and had them with the matching bayonet for $100 extra.

I ended up picking up one of the Classic Firearms rifles. Even paid the extra $20 for a hand select. Hopefully I get a good one.

I picked it up late last week... For being a hundred year old rifle it's really in great shape. Even the stock is really nice compared to many I've seen. The bluing is very good and the action is slick. I'll get it out this Friday to the range with some 175gr PPU ammo and see how she does.

I also have a K31icon coming that I scored off of Armslist. From the pictures, that one looks really nice!
