Hello there everyone. After finishing Ian Skennertonicon's 'The Lee Enfield' for the first time I am greatly curious about the WW1 Galilean sights that were set up for the SMLE's.

I have read through two threads so far on this and it seems there is not much on here about the subject, but at the same time no one seems to have posted the question I want.

How can they be made? I know I can research it to a certain extent and consult whoever I may, but I know there are some very bright people on here who could certainly give their two cents while I also look elsewhere.

Now lets suppose for now I am curious only about Lattey style sights (The simplest most common genuine era kind) which use the existing sights. What kind of fixture to the steel/brass rim holds the lenses in place?

Now I am quite young and don't know too much but that gives me every opportunity to give it a go. Anyway, cheers to everyone who adds anything or any images that could help out.
