    My first 1903a3

I picked up my first 1903a3 - receiver and barrel date to 1943 (both from Remington). Could anyone tell me if this was a CMPicon Greek return?

Working to add pics from phone....

You can contact "John Beardicon" on the CMPicon forum. He is the 1903 armorer at CMP and probably has notes on the rifle if it came through CMP.

The other option is contact CMP and pay the $25 to do a search to see if they sold it.

A couple of ways (which I don't see in your pictures - is there the last four digits of the rifle's serial number etched on the "flat" of the bolt handle? Is the last four digits of the s/n stamped on the butt of the stock? (Note: these numbers may not actually match the serial number).
