Source needed for the M16 Rough Weave "Silent Sling" material.

I want to buy a roll of the rough weave 1 1/4 rough weave silent sling material. I don't need the M16icon sling hardware just the webbing.

My research indicated the Commission of the Blind had the contracts for the M16 slings but that was as far as I got.

I contacted one manufacturer and lady said she remembered it but no longer produced it at their facility.

If you have a old M1 cotton webbing sling you can replace the cotton with the rough weave and you will have a lifetime sling. I have converted maybe 15 of them over the years. I used to buy M16 silent slings for 2.00 each but then the black guns took off and prices went up.
