The problem with slings is a lot of different types were used over the years and as they are leather and have a tendency to rot if not stored properly they get separated from the rifles.

To the best of my knowledge, that sling is not Italianicon. It looks like a Spanish Mauser sling for the 1916 model.

The most correct Italian sling for the M1891 will not have a buckle. It will have two brass or steel studs (similar to what you see at the bottom of the above sling). The lower end will have a short loop, the upper end will have a longer loop that you can adjust by moving the stud to different holes. Other acceptable slings would include a later type buckle sling with "ears" and a center pin, these are more commonly seen on TS and other shorter models. And for WWII, the German K98icon style sling minus the keeper.

The early most proper sling is a close copy of the Veterli sling, so if you can find a photo of that, it will help you out in looking for one.

I don't think so. I believe the correct M24/47 sling is tapered on the one end. You're looking for a sling wide enough to fit the swivels. Kind of like this one only the end with multiple holes is longer. This is an early Swissicon repro.

Slings for just about everybody have dried up lately. Just a year or two ago I could pick up a "new" rifle, do a quick search on ebay and have it's correct sling on the way. Had a nightmare of a time the other day finding Spanish slings for less than $30. I eventually did but it wasn't easy. Carcano slings dried up about three years ago. I tend to grab a repro K98icon sling for any of the short rifles I get today. SA marked slings were pretty common for a while but they are gone also and wouldn't be correct for an 1891.

If you want an original sling, just be patient and do a daily search on ebay for them. One will most likely eventually show up. Just be prepared to pay roughly $60 for one.
