    Sling swivel Id ?

    Hy Guys

This comes off a leather target sling. Can anyone tell me what fitment is needed to attach it to the rifle.

Dunno for sure. Can't say as I've ever seen one like it. It may not be made any more. Seems most are push button these days. Might be purely European/English too.

It appears (emphasis on 'appears') to be a competition sling swivel. Shooters in competition will use a support sling that is attached to the upper arm of their shooting jacket, adjusted for length and then attached via a two piece sling swivel to the rifle. The actual swivel - what is shown above - is on the sling and connects to a swivel base mounted on the rifle allowing the shooter to disconnect from the rifle without having to readjust the sling. I've used this arrangement when I competed in three position Small Bore decades ago.

    Thanks Sunray.
Paul S. I think you are right and as sun ray stated I think it is an obsolete Parker Hale type affair.

    Sling Swivel

Looks like it is an Anschutz sling swivel that fits into the base that fits into a fore end rail.Have one here that appears the same with Anschutz markings on it.

Id say Anschutz - I have 2 x Anschutz small bore rifles with handstops that accept the same (both came with single point competition slings with identical sling attachments as that pictured in post above)
