    1900 Krag carbine

Looking at a Kragicon carbine that looks good. It's serial # is 281969. Does anyone know if this is a carbine #? The receiver is marked 1999.

1899 receivers were only used on carbines, so the odds are very much in your favor. As long as the barrel crown and front sight look right you should be OK.

Everything in that photo appears perfectly correct for a carbine.
