    1917 High Standard Barrel

    Gentlemen,

I have a line on a full length High Standard replacement barrel for the 1917.

Might anyone have an idea of value on one of these? Can't seem to find any that have sold through eBay or Gunbroker...or even one that's still for sale to compare against.

Rifling is strong but a bit frosted. Might clean up a little better.

Would appreciate any help you could give.

    Thanks!

1917 barrels are getting hard to find. I felt very lucky to find a Johnson Arms 1917 barrel for $125 at a recent gun show. It has a beautiful bore. You don't see too many unmolested barrels come up on EBAY but I think a good one might make $150-175. Salt Flat

What does a new replacement barrel from criterion or CMPicon run? When consider in gun smithing costs, Are you saving a little or a lot on the used barrel.
I have two original take off barrels and that's what I ask myself every time I think about getting rid of them.
