    I’ve no connection to WWA but I thought I’d mention that they are now selling Spare barrels for your Bren box and barrel bag.

    Well, well, well. I wasn’t expecting that to happen.

    I’m intending to go there on Tuesday and will investigate. It would be nice to get a Mk2 barrel if the price is right.

    WWA have done these in a limited quantity before, about 4 or 5 years ago.

    Mark PM me your number I gather you mean the W&P show ?, I'm there on Tuesday nearly all day..... need to leave around 1530 to get to Dover and catch a ferry.

    That’s right, I picked up some early long cone Mk1s back then before WWA withdrew them. Looks like all the wrinkles have been ironed out now.

    I seem to think that the new deact spec allows for deactivated parts by default. Whereas before, it didn't specify deact parts only weapons. But the cops were very liberal regarding deactivated parts such as barrels because of the way the old specs were written - in that a barrel was a firearm in its own right, as defined in law and........... anyway........
