    Old & The New

Just received an up dated book printed in 2018 of the Blue & Brown Diamond book the original was printed in 1921.
In the original in the day it was very expensive to place pictures in books hence the lack of them in any great number in any early works.
The 2018 version includes allot of pictures of soldiers that could not be put into the original it was also put together by a relation of the original author.
This completes that small section for this book as I try to assemble 1st Ed's of our WWI Australianicon books a slow, tedious and at times expensive undertaking.
But I want my son to understand the legacy left behind by our forefathers in "The Great Adventure" sadly it was not that but should be called "The Great Nightmare".

I have pictured (#2) the soldiers input into the front of the original titled book sadly he probably could not afford a picture of himself I say.
    The search goes on.........
