    FNA-B Carcano CAV Carbine date?

    Hi guys

    Bought this Carcano Cavalry carbine.
    Anybody out there who can help with date?

    Round barrel marked FNA-B
    Serial no. PS9461
    Oval with SD over serial
    Down under barrel 2 and something with 6 and something unreadeble.
    Some markings on rear sight.
    Bolt marked Rocca
    Bolt handel Oval with BL
    Lever Bayonet Lock
    Stock match Serial (PS9461)
    Stock Cartouche FNAB with something in middel Faded.

    I have not bought it for anything els than just a Cavalry Carbine.
    But like to know Ca. build year

    When I look in my book on Carcanos the only listed date for FNA-B produced Carcano Cavalry Carbines is 1942, after that it is the remaining serial numbers are listed as 'assente' which I believe means absent. Basically some time in 1943-1944 is what I would guess.
