    M1905

    Thoughts? In order to get buy, sometimes you sell.....which is the case here. Honest assessments and possible prices would be a plus, This is slowly being divested (or not) from my Uncle's estate and he instructed me to "spread the wealth" from this collection based on what I felt met the need or aspiration of his family. So....just trying to carry out that wish for him. What do you think on this rifle. It's damn clean, and has the dust cover. The flower was never ground off so, that's in this rifle's favor.

    Numbers match on the bolt and dustcover. Last three are 738

    What is a M1905? Looks like a Type 99.

    It looks like a Nagoya series 5 Type 38 carbine to me . The 38th year of the Meiji era is 1905 . The carbine in the photos has had the stock smoothed / lightly sanded . The bluing also looks to have been redone , hard to tell for sure from the photos .
