High Standard Pistol-Model 107 Citation: Location of production date code.

High Standard used a two alpha code to indicate month and year of assembly for the years 1956-1980. Was this code applied to the frame/slide? If so where? I have looked all over a friends Model 107 Citation and can not see the code. Thx, Steve
