Picking up my No.4 on Saturday

    Hi All,

I'm picking up my first No.4 tomorrow at Bisley from Fultons. I have a target booked on Century at 200 yards in the afternoon. If anyone is about feel free to pop by and say hello. I'm quite new to all of this. Although the plan is to convert to T spec, I'll be shooting it with as issued sights tomorrow. I'll post the results afterwards.

I'm armed with some home loads, 174 Sierras in Norma cases (43grn N150) and the same in HXP cases (but with 40grn of N140) and will try some PPU 174 FMJs too.

It'll be fitted with a new Criterion barrel so will run it in at the zero range in the morning.

    Wish me luck.

    R

There is an easily understood how-to-do-it thread on this forum detailing exactly how to fit a No32 to your rifle. I don't want to tell anyone how to such eggs, but there's more to it than 5 screws, two pads and a scope. With just one drill, you can go beyind the point of no return and have an unuseable body. Maybe someone can resurrect it or direct Musgrave towards it.

Did you make your new locking segment? Just had the same job to do myself!

Well I picked up the rifle it's a shooter. Fultons have done a wonderful job on it. I first suspected it was a real hummer when the first five shots fired at the zero range produced a one hole group, then the second group of five, then the third and finally the fourth. Then it was off to 200 yards where it did very well. I'm absolutely delighted with it. I'll do a full write up when I get home and upload some pics but hats off to Robert and Colin at Fultons, yet again.
