    Quick Q. .22 Enfield

The Britishicon No.7 was single shot, the Canadianicon No.7 was a repeater. The No.8 is single shot. Q: Was the #9 single shot or a repeater?

No.9 single but Britishicon no.7 was both single shot and some had a 5 round mag. All Canadians were single shot

Yes the Number 9 MK1 Enfield (a converted Enfield No. 4 rifle) by Parker Hale are making really good money at the moment. Saw one last week go for nearly £2K. Used most often as training rifles in service, bolt action only though.
If you see one you will notice the left side of the receiver is marked “.22 R.F. N.9 MkI”, “P-H 59” (Parker-Hale 1959) and with the serial number. The bolt handle and the underside of the forearm are both marked with the serial number too. The muzzles are normally marked “PARKERIFIED / A.G.R." which is always a nice touch similar to what Fultons do on their weapons once they have gone through their processes.
