    A stable mate

Just brought this to keep my Honda 1100XX Blackbird company I have been chasing another machine for a while as whilst the Blackird is good at touring & straight line & acceleration it is hard yards through the twisties following Triumph speed triples, triple Benneli's and dukes as I calculated all up with me on board at @700lbs thats allot to move around at speed.

I had picked out a 2011 MV Augusta F4 (198BHP)but after talking to my mech no one down here would work on it due to it being very exotic and I ain't riding 450klms round trip to get that sucka serviced.

So I called into a friends bike shop and this was there took it for a spin and it will be with me next weekend as it has to have a full going over & new tyres before I will take it.
Its just my thing I do, it has only 9375klms on it (2009 model) also had some very good upgrades a full Terrmignoni race exh system ($2000) upgraded ECU chip, power commander, rear sets, revamped air induction, racing fairings.
The originals well the owner was going to race this bike hence all the works, but never did on a track day he went into the sand had the original fairings on it they were toasted but I like it how it is. (The bike is dead straight as I have already checked it out plus I trust my friend of 38 years hence the very good not to be missed price)
It gets up & goes not like the bird but I have never owned a twin but its got plenty there especially when you go into Sport mode.
I may get a personal plate for it one day as its a 848 I reckon EVL848 sounds just right.
Before I put new tyres on after its big service where everything gets done we will dyno it then put the new rubber on dyno's tend to really stress the rear tyres.
So thats my new rifle gone now in the form of another device...........
